How to monitor a LeadMapper search in progress

You do not need to keep the search form open while a run works. LeadMapper creates a Job, saves businesses as they are found and shows the run’s status on its detail page.

Open the running job

After Start search, LeadMapper opens the job. You can also choose Jobs later and reopen it. The Jobs list shows each search term and location, mode, status, progress, businesses found and credits used. Filter by status or search for a term or location when the list gets long.

Read the progress tiles

• Progress shows how far the run has moved. For a grid, it also shows completed points out of the total.
• Found is the running total of businesses the job has discovered. New businesses shows those added by this run rather than already known from earlier searches.
• Credits used counts the result pages collected so far. Compare it with the estimate you saw before starting.

These figures update while the job runs. A pause in the count is normal: the worker may be fetching another page or moving to the next point.

Inspect coverage and the results so far

For a grid run, the coverage map shows which points have finished and where results were found. The run panel provides a log of the search. The results table fills as businesses are saved, so you can begin reviewing the list before the entire run finishes.

A business discovered at more than one grid point is kept once in the combined list. The results can change until the job finishes, so wait for a final export if you need the complete run.

Know what the status means

• Queued means the job is waiting to start. Running means it is collecting results.
• Completed means the run finished. You can open its results and export them if your plan allows it.
• Stopped or out of credits means the run ended early. Results already saved remain available; the job panel explains what happened and offers the relevant next action.

When you are ready to qualify the list, open Results and filter the businesses. If you want to repeat a run, use the rerun action in Jobs and review its credit estimate again.
