On this page
LeadMapper charges only for the result pages it actually retrieves. One credit covers one page of up to 20 businesses. A search point may need several pages, so its final cost depends on how many results the provider returns. The Mission plan gives an estimate before you start.
What one credit covers
A Single search uses one search point. A Grid search repeats the query from each point in the grid. Bulk search runs across the areas you include. At each point, LeadMapper can request successive pages of results, using one credit per page retrieved. A point can use up to 15 credits.
Why the final number can differ from the estimate
Busy areas and common business types can fill more pages than quiet areas or rare categories. A Grid with more points or a Bulk run with more areas can also use more credits. Overlapping points may find the same business, and LeadMapper removes duplicates from the combined list; credits still reflect the pages searched.
Check credits before starting
- 1Build your search in New search or Bulk search.
- 2Read Mission plan for the points or areas, typical and maximum credit estimates, and your available balance.
- 3Reduce grid size, remove unnecessary bulk areas or use a Single sample if the estimate is more than you want to spend.
- 4Open Billing to see your current balance and credit history.
Trial accounts have a small credit allowance and a one-page limit for each Single search. Grid, Bulk and export need a paid plan or a credit pack. Plan and pack credit rules are explained in Billing.
